If you've been following my composting adventures, I'm still troubleshooting my cold couch potato of a pile.

I've watered it, added grass clippings - but it hasn't heated back up.

I picked up an aerator tool today at Harmony Farms in Sebastopol. Easy to use - MUCH easier than trying to do it with a shovel.

I also added another bag of composted chicken manure.

Let's see how this effort affects the pile's temperature over the next few days..
